What to include
Your phone make and model, your Android version, the app version (shown on the About screen) and a short description of what went wrong. A screenshot helps.
Troubleshooting
Reminders arrive late or not at all
Open Android Settings → Apps → jMotivation and check that:
- Notifications are allowed;
- Alarms & reminders are allowed (Android 12 and newer);
- battery use is set to Unrestricted if your phone pauses apps in the background.
Then open the app once and re-save your reminder times.
Android shows a wallpaper preview when I set a quote on the home screen
This is expected. The home screen quote is a live wallpaper so it can stay upright when you rotate the phone. Tap Set wallpaper in Android's preview. After the first time, new quotes update without asking again.
The quote disappears when I rotate my phone
In landscape the wallpaper shows only the background, by design. Rotate back to portrait and the quote returns.
My wallpaper went back to a normal picture
If you pick a different wallpaper from your phone's own wallpaper settings, Android replaces the jMotivation live wallpaper. Open Wallpaper Studio in jMotivation and set the quote on your home screen again.
A widget shows an old quote
Widgets refresh on their own schedule. Open the app once, or remove the widget and add it again, to refresh it straight away. Also make sure the battery saver is not restricting the app.
I cannot find the widgets
Long-press an empty spot on your home screen, choose Widgets and search for jMotivation.
How do I delete my data?
All data is on your phone only. Choose Clear storage in the app's Android settings, or uninstall the app. See our Privacy Policy.
